Man Stabbed, Beat Up By Group Outside Queens Bodega: NYPD

Cops are searching for the group who allegedly left a man in critical condition after attacking him in Ridgewood.

RIDGEWOOD, QUEENS -- A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after he was beat up and stabbed by a group of attackers outside a Queens bodega, police said.

The man was walking along Wyckoff Avenue in Ridgewood on Sunday night when a man in a hot pink Nike sweatshirt chatted him up outside Te Amo Deli Express, cops told Patch.

The two talked briefly before the stranger began punching the man in the face with help from a stranger in a cameo jacket that had been walking ahaead of them, police said.

Cops estimate another 4 or 5 men joined in on the attack soon after, beating the man and stabbing him repeatedly in the stomach before fleeing the scene.

The man was rushed to a local hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance footage of the first two suspects involved in the attack. Cops said the other men involved were last seen wearing dark clothing.
