Man Steals Wallet From 34-Year-Old At Queens Bar: NYPD

After stealing the wallet, the man unsuccessfully tried to use the credit cards at a tax preparation office, authorities said.

QUEENS — A man stole a 34-year-old's wallet at a bar in Jackson Heights earlier this month, police said.

The thief took the wallet from the man's back pocket, stealing over $300 and credit cards on July 1 about 2:20 a.m. at Friend's Tavern located at 78-11 Roosevelt Ave., the NYPD said.

After stealing the wallet, the man unsuccessfully tried to use the credit cards at a tax preparation office, authorities said.

The man is in his 30s and is about 5 feet, 8 inches, tall, according to police. He was last seen wearing a gray baseball cap, white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tan sneakers, the NYPD said.
