Man Struck Dead By 7 Train In Elmhurst, Officials Say
A person died after getting hit by a 7 train at the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue subway station midday Wednesday

ELMHURST, QUEENS — A person died after getting hit by a 7 train at the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue subway station midday Wednesday, officials said.
The Queens-bound train struck the person just after 1 p.m., according to a tweet posted by the MTA.
First responders pronounced the individual dead at the station, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.

There is no 7 train service between 61 Street-Woodside and Flushing-Main Street, and 7 trains are running express in both directions from Queensboro Plaza to 61 Street-Woodside, the MTA said about 1:45 p.m.
The LIRR is cross-honoring MetroCard and OMNY users between Woodside and Flushing-Main Street in both directions.

7 trains will be running express in both directions from Queensboro Plaza to 61 St-Woodside and bypassing 33 St-Rawson St, 40 St-Lowery St, 46 St-Bliss St and 52 St.

The person's death comes just a day after a man jumped in front of a 7 train at the 52nd Street station in Woodside, the Sunnyside Post reported.
