Man Wearing Amazon Vest Robs Packages In Elmhurst Building: NYPD

On Nov. 9, a man wearing an Amazon vest entered a building located between 44 Avenue and 74 Street and stole multiple packages, police said.

QUEENS – A man wearing an Amazon vest stole several packages in an Elmhurst apartment complex and attacked a building employee early last month, police reported.

A man wearing an Amazon vest entered a building located between 44 Avenue and 74 Street and stole multiple packages in the common area on Nov. 9 about 10 a.m., authorities reported.

The man later went to the building’s garage, where a 49-year-old building employee confronted the man and then they started to fight, the NYPD said.

The man attacked the building employee in the face and fled on foot with the packages, and the 49-year-old man had a minor injury, police said.

Police released images of the alleged robber, described as a man with a medium complexion, approximately 5'10" in height, with black colored hair.
