QUEENS, NY — A married NYPD couple strangled each other during a violent quarrel in Queens, according to police and reports.
Off-duty cops Alex Lall and Shaye Lall, both 24, were arrested by their fellow officers early Monday on a slew of charges, including strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.
Details about the arrests were still Monday afternoon, but amNY first reported the married pair had both accused the other of choking them after hitting them in the face.

The fight unfolded in front of their infant, who was unhurt, according to the report.
Both Lalls face charges of strangulation, endangering a child's welfare and third-degree assault, police said.

Alex Lall also faces an additional charge of second-degree harassment, authorities said.
