It took smoke eaters three hours to quell the flames on Beach 169th Street Friday morning, the FDNY said.

QUEENS, NEW YORK — A massive blaze at Fort Tilden took smoke eaters three hours to extinguish Friday morning, officials said.
Flames erupted at the empty factory at Beach 169th Street and Rockaway Point Boulevard about 4:50 a.m., the FDNY said.
Video posted to Citizen shows orange flames decimating the building, identified by a denizen Queens reporter as the abandoned factory next to Fort Tilden's soccer field.

The two-alarm fire was under control by 7:15 a.m., the FDNY said.
