Meadows Festival Headliners Include Jay Z, Gorillaz And Red Hot Chili Peppers, Organizers Say
The festival will also be broadcast live via the music-streaming app Tidal.

CITI FIELD, QUEENS — The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jay Z are among the stars heading to a Queens music festival.
The three-day Meadows Festival, now in its second year, will also bring Gorillaz, M.I.A. and Two Door Cinema Club, organizers said.
The festival will take place Sept. 15-17 at a parking lot next to Citi Field. Tickets will go on sale noon May 10 with a three-day early bird ticket costing $275, advance tickets $290 and regular tickets $305.

The festival will also feature Queens musicians Nas, Action Bronson, L.L. Cool J and Swet Shop Boys member Heems.

Aside from the tunes, the festival will offer food from local vendors and exhibits from local artists.

Last year's festival, which took place in October, attracted around 80,000 fans. This year, the music-streaming app Tidal will be live-streaming the event for those who aren't able to attend.
