Men Force Driver Out Of Mercedes-Benz, Flee With Car In Flushing: NYPD

Authorities are searching for the men who robbed a 40-year-old man's Mercedes-Benz along Sanford Avenue​ on Feb. 19.

QUEENS — Three men robbed a Mercedes-Benz in Flushing after threatening the driver and forcing him out of the vehicle last week, police said.

Authorities are searching for the men who robbed a 40-year-old man's Mercedes-Benz in front of 132-03 Sanford Ave., near College Point early Feb. 19.

The men pulled up behind the luxury car inside a white sedan about 5:30 a.m., authorities said. Two men then threatened the 40-year-old with a firearm, forcing him to exit the vehicle, police said.

The men fled with the Mercedes-Benz, and no injuries were reported, the NYPD said.

Authorities said that the robbers are believed to be in their 20s, and the white sedan has a black passenger-side gas cap, black roof, and black rims.
