Motorcyclist, 35, Dies After Out-Of-Control Crash: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — A 35-year-old motorcyclist, who was critically injured after he hit a concrete barrier last month, has died, police announced Thursday.

Adolfo Gallego, who was being treated at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, succumbed to his injuries on Sept. 8 close to two weeks after the crash, police said

On Aug. 28, Gallego was travelling on a green 2019 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle onto the northbound Beach 94 Street entrance ramp when he apparently lost control and hit the concrete barrier and being ejected from the motorcycle, police said.

At the scene, police found Gallego on the ground with trauma to the body.
