Motorcyclist Without Helmet Killed Crashing In Hollis: NYPD

A 41-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing against a pickup truck in Hollis Tuesday night, police said.

The man was riding a 2023 Kawasaki KX250X motorcycle without a helmet on Hollis Avenue, near 201st Street, when he struck the back bumper of a parked Ford F-350 pickup truck on July 11 about 8:50 p.m., the NYPD said.

QUEENS — A 41-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing against a pickup truck in Hollis Tuesday night, police said.

The man was riding a 2023 Kawasaki KX250X motorcycle without a helmet on Hollis Avenue, near 201st Street, when he struck the back bumper of a parked Ford F-350 pickup truck on July 11 about 8:50 p.m., the NYPD said.

The motorcyclist, who was riding without a headlamp, veered right to avoid a vehicle making a left turn before crashing against the pickup, authorities said.

The 42-year-old was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens, where he died, officers said.
