NYPD Release Surveillance Images Of NYC Home Invaders, Took $15K

According to police, the suspects are believed to be around 40 and 50 years old.

QUEENS, NY — Police have released surveillance images of two suspects who broke into a Queens home and tied up a family, making off with $15,000 earlier this week.

The incident happened at a house near 152nd Street and 12th Avenue in Whitestone around 9:05 a.m. on Monday, Patch previously reported.

The surveillance images show the two suspects walking down the street, with one carrying a large box and another one wearing a green vest, both are donning baseball caps.

The two suspects forced their into the home and tied up the parents, a 42-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, and their three other kids, in the basement, police said.

The robbers took $15,000 in cash and jewelry from a safe in the house, police said. The suspects also took the family's car and fled the scene — the car was later recovered less than a mile away.

There have been no arrests and no injuries reported from the incident.

According to police, the suspects are believed to be around 40 and 50 years old. One was dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, and the other in an Amazon delivery vest.

No arrests have been made as of Wednesday afternoon. An investigation remains ongoing.
