Over 100 Workers At JFK Airport Hilton Hotel To Be Laid Off

QUEENS — More than 100 workers will be laid off from the Hilton JFK Hotel, the conveniently-located lodging facility for travelers incoming and departing from the John F. Kennedy Airport.

Hilton JFK Hotel in Jamaica will lay off 125 workers on June 1, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice.

The reason listed for the layoffs is that the 'plant is closing.'

Patch reached out to both the union and Hilton to ask if this meant the hotel was closing but did not receive an immediate response.
