Far Rockaway man indicted on multiple charges for beating Malba homeowner during illegal street takeover: DA (qns.com) — A Queens grand jury has indicted a Far Rockaway man in connection with a violent late‑night street takeover outside a Malba home that left the homeowner seriously injured. Prosecutors say the suspect joined a group assault after cars performed dangerous stunts, and the NYPD is still seeking additional participants. Residents with information can contact Crime Stoppers and may be eligible for a reward.

Man struck by train in Queens as good Samaritans pull him from tracks (nydailynews.com) — A man was critically injured after falling onto the R-train tracks at Northern Blvd. station in Woodside, where a second train struck him as two good Samaritans tried to pull him to safety. One rescuer was heading to work at a Queens after-school program, and both stayed with the victim until paramedics rushed him to Elmhurst Hospital.
