QUEENS, NY — A 56-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Queens Tuesday morning, police said.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. near Kissena Boulevard and the Horace Harding Expressway in Flushing, police said.

The victim was crossing the street when a Honda Accord traveling south on Kissena Boulevard collided with a U-Haul headed west on the Horace Harding Expressway, police said.

The 56-year-old man was hit as a result of the collision.

The driver of the Honda Accord was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

The U-Haul driver and passenger fled the scene and are still at large, police said.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification, police said

No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
