Police Search For Queens Gold Necklace Robbers: NYPD

The men fled in a gray two-door Honda Civic in both incidents, police said.

QUEENS – Police are searching for two men accused of robbing necklaces last month in two instances in South Jamaica and Hollis, authorities said.

On Oct. 25, two men stole a $2,000 gold necklace from a 16-year-old teenager while they displayed a firearm between 123 Avenue and 144th Street about 7 p.m., the NYPD said.

Five days later, on Oct. 30, two men stole a $5,500 gold necklace from a 53-year-old man while he was exiting his car at 195-41 Jamaica Avenue about 4:30 a.m., authorities said.

The 53-year-old tried to resist, but then complied and was left with a laceration to his left hand, the NYPD said.

The men fled in a gray two-door Honda Civic in both incidents, police said.

The two men are described as having a dark complexion and approximately in their 20s, police said.

Police released images of the gray Honda Civic used in the crimes, bearing possible partial plate 5426, according to authorities.
