- Authorities are searching for and asking the public's help locating a woman in her 20s who struck and injured a man exiting an MTA bus in Woodhaven in December. The victim was a 65-year-old man left with a black eye after being hit several times on the corner of Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard. The suspect is five feet, three inches tall, weighs over 180 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red jacket. (Queens Patch)
- A popular foodie festival is returning to Queens on April 15. The Queens Night Market, which prides itself on offering the city’s best eats for $5 to $6, announced its 2023 season, running on Saturday nights throughout the summer at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. - On Wednesday morning, emergency responders were called to a scene in the Elmhurst section of Queens, where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, knocking them to the ground. The unidentified victim was rushed to a local medical facility, and the incident is under investigation. (Local Accident Reports)
