Queens Driver Fatally Shot In Head, Crashes Into Pedestrian: NYPD
The 66-year-old driver was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
QUEENS, NY — A 66-year-old man was found shot and killed inside an SUV in Queens Monday, police announced.
At 4:50 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the vicinity of 117 Road and Farmer's Boulevard.
At the scene, they found William Alcindor with a gunshot wound to the head inside a gray 2014 Nissan SUV, police said.

A preliminary investigation determined that the 66-year-old driver was travelling east on Baisley Boulevard and turning onto Farmer's Boulevard when he shot in the head and lost control of the vehicle, striking a 23-year-old female pedestrian.
The woman sustained injuries to her legs and was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by EMS in stable condition.
