Queens Gang Brawl Leaves 1 Man Dead, 2 Others Injured: NYPD

The three were stabbed in a gang-related clash involving more than a dozen men - one of whom wore a skeleton mask, cops say.

RIDGEWOOD, QUEENS -- One Queens man is dead and two others were hospitalized after a gang-related brawl involving more than a dozen men, police said.

Daniel Atkinson, 24, and two other men were stabbed in the fight, which broke out just before 9:30 p.m. on Friday near Palmetto Street and Seneca Ave, cops said.

Officers responding to the dispute found Atkinson stabbed in the stomach just around the corner at St. Nicholas Ave. Medics rushed the Glendale man to Wyckoff Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Cops also found a 23-year-old man who'd been stabbed in the head and back and a 26-year-old man who'd been stabbed repeatedly in the attack.

No arrests have yet been made in the brawl, but the NYPD released video surveillance of the group of men involved just before the attack - including one man shown wearing a skeleton mask and another holding what appears to be a long stick.
