The Rego Park man allegedly used Facebook to ask mothers in the Philippines for photos of themselves sexually abusing children.

QUEENS, NY – A Queens man accused of directing women over Facebook to send photos of themselves sexually abusing children for cash now faces child pornography charges.

Keith Liwang, 26, was arrested Thursday morning in his Rego Park apartment after authorities uncovered a trail of social media messages between him and three woman in the Philippines.

In September and October of 2016, Liwang offered the women money to engage in sex acts with their children for a "show" over Facebook messanger, according to U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.

“His version of a ‘show,’ among other criminal acts against children, allegedly included enticing a mother to sexually abuse her own son," Angel Melendez, a special agent in charge of New York Homeland Security Investigations, said in a release.

On Sept. 8 of 2016, Liwang allegedly sent several messages to a woman offering her money to sexually abuse her six-year-old boy. On Sept. 11, 2016, he allegedly made a similar offer in messages exchanged with another woman.

He sent the request on Oct. 12, 2016, to a third woman who responded on Oct. 27, 2016, with two photos depicting child abuse, according to ICE.

Prosecutors charged Liwang with conspiracy to produce child pornography, ICE said.
