Queens Man Arrested After 2021 Shooting Leaves Jamaica Man Dead: NYPD
Jaquan Alston, 22, was arrested on murder and criminal possession of weapon charges, the NYPD reported.
QUEENS – A Queens man was arrested on Monday more than a year after a shooting in Jamaica left a 28-year-old man dead, police said.
Jaquan Alston, 22, now faces murder and criminal possession of weapon charges, the NYPD reported. Alston is the third person arrested for the shooting of Broderick Daniels on Aug. 31, 2021, according to police.
Nasiem Pearson, 22, and Kingsley Ruffin, 21, were arrested on the same charges on June and July, respectively, of this year, police said.

Daniels was found shot inside a building on 184 Street, located in Jamaica, at 1 a.m. after responding to a call of a person shot, police said in 2021.
Emergency Medical Services transported Daniels to the hospital, where he died, according to the NYPD.
