QUEENS — An e-scooter rider died Monday after police found him knocked down on a street in Maspeth, the NYPD said.
Police found Hamdan Almatare, 46, lying on the street with trauma to the body after he was riding northbound on Hamilton Place, near Borden Avenue, authorities said.
Almatare was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he died, police said.
