Queens Man Fatally Shot, Found Dead Inside Apartment Building: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — A 35-year-old man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds inside his apartment Sunday morning, police announced.

Officers responded to 101-66 125 Street at around 3:05 a.m. and found the victim with gunshot wounds to the head and torso, police said.

The victim was transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

There have been no arrests as of Monday morning, and an investigation remains ongoing.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification.
