Queens Motorcyclist, 39, Killed In Collision With Driver: NYPD

The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the Kia sedan, causing the victim to be ejected.

QUEENS, NY — A 39-year-old motorcyclist who died after colliding with a sedan over the weekend in Queens has been identified, police said.

At 5:15 p.m on Friday, Keron Frederick was riding on a 2013 Suzuki motorcycle heading south on 69th Street in Middle Village when he collided with a Kia sedan who was attempting to make a left turn onto Eliot Avenue, police said.

The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the Kia, causing Frederick to be ejected.

The driver of the Kia remained on scene, police said.

The 39-year-old victim suffered trauma to the head and body. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
