Queens Night Market To Return Saturday With 84 Diverse Vendors

The event is from 5 p.m. through midnight at Flushing Meadows Corona Park and there will also be musical performances throughout the night.

QUEENS, NY — The Queens Night Market will be back this Saturday, now that the U.S. Open has come to a close, with dozens of vendors at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

There will be 60 food vendors and 24 art vendors situated near the New York Hall of Science, located at 47-01 111 St., from 5 p.m. to midnight, according to Queens Night Market, an open air showcase of goods, services and products from independent entrepreneurs.

Jerk chicken, bubble tea, ramen, Brazilian barbecue, Tibetan dumplings and Malaysian chicken curry are just a few of the cuisines expected at the night market.

Handmade jewels, Thai orchids, charms and candles are some of the artisanal products people can expect to find at the open air space.

There will also be performances by four artists throughout the night by DJ CDiverse (5 to 6:30 p.m.); Vasilios Tselios (6:30 to 7 p.m.); Rodyna (7:30 to 8:30 p.m.); the Morrisania Band (9:15 to 10:30 p.m.); and another musical set by DJ CDiverse (10:30 to 11:59 p.m.) to close out the night.

Parking at the night market is $15, but people can get there by public transportation via the 7 train at 111th Street & Roosevelt Avenue, the Q48 bus at 108th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, the Q23 47th Avenue and 108th Street or the Q58 at 51st and Corona avenues.

The market is every Saturday through Oct. 29.
