Queens Night Market Returns After 5-Month Hiatus

QUEENS — More than 100 food vendors are slated to set up shop in one of the most renowned markets in Queens this weekend.
Queens Night Market will reopen on Saturday, April 15, at 5 p.m. after closing for the year in October.
New Yorkers can take a trip around the world through the dozens of international food vendors at the market in its new season.

Vendors will sell plates from Afghan mantu and chapli kababs to Colombian arepas. Food from the Philippines, Egypt, Cambodia, Mexico, Hong Kong, Belize, Pakistan, Trinidad, and dozens of other countries will be available at Queens Night Market, hosted in New York's most diverse borough.
Tickets start at $5 for the opening nights between April 15 and April 22, with unsold tickets priced at $8 at the door. Tickets will be free starting April 29.

Food is capped at $5, while some vendors will have plates capped at $6.
Aside from food, attendees can also view a variety of art and merchandise including NYC-themed apparel, photography, toys, and custom woodwork.
Queens Night Market will announce updates for live performances in the coming weeks.
