Queens Teacher Sent Sexual Texts To Former Student, Police Say
Shahiem Willis, 26, was arrested Tuesday on accusations he exchanged sexual texts with a 16-year-old former student, police said.
QUEENS, NY — A Queens teacher faces accusations he exchanged sexual texts with a 16-year-old former student, police said.
Shahiem Willis, 25, was arrested Tuesday on a requested charge of acting in a manner injurious to a child, NYPD officials said.
Police learned that Willis and the boy student exchanged the texts between July 19 and July 20, authorities said.

Willis had worked in the same Queens school as the boy, PIX11 first reported.
He was arrested with the NYPD's 107th Precinct, which covers Fresh Meadows, Cunningham Heights and Hilltop Village, police said.
