QUEENS, NY — The New York City Marathon is behind us, but it's not too late to register for Queens' own turkey trot.
While turkey trots traditionally take place on Thanksgiving Day, the TriStateRuns NYC Turkey Trot in Flushing Meadows Corona Park is held on Saturday, Nov. 27th, and registration is available until 9:00 a.m. day-of.
The race, which kicks off at 8:30 a.m. at the Unisphere, includes a traditional 5K plus a half marathon on the same course, though online registration is only available for the 5K, which costs $45 for adults or $10 for kids ages 8-11. Kids under 8-years-old can run for free.
