Robber Sexually Assaults Woman At Knifepoint In Queens Alley: NYPD

A woman, 45, went to the hospital after an as-yet-unidentified man attacked her early Saturday, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A knife-wielding robber dragged a woman into a Queens alley and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The woman, 45, went to Elmhurst Hospital after the attack early Saturday, while an as-yet-unidentified man who assaulted her remains on the loose, authorities said.

The attack unfolded about 12:30 a.m. when the woman walked near Northern Boulevard and 110th Street, just a few blocks from Citi Field, NYPD officials said.

A man approached her, flashed a knife and pulled her into an alley where he took her necklace and headphones before he forced her to perform what police called "a sexual act."

He then ran off down 109th Street, police said.

The man is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore a light green hooded sweatshirt, black jogging pants with a reflective stripe on the side and gray sneakers, police said.
