Second Man Arrested In 2021 Jamaica Killing: Police

A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged Thursday after the murder of a 40-year-old man in Jamaica, Queens, police said.

QUEENS – A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged Thursday after the murder of a 40-year-old man in Jamaica, Queens, in 2021, police said.

Kashife Ninvalle, 32, from East Flatbush was arrested for murder and criminal possession of a weapon after shooting two men, including Alfonso Dennis, causing his death on December 6, 2021, authorities said.

In December, police found the two victims shot at 111 Avenue and 176 Street about 5 p.m., the NYPD said.

Dennis was shot in the head and chest, and was later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital, while the other victim suffered gunshot wounds in the leg and shoulder, police reported.

The following day, Calvin Cross, 25, was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities reported in December.
