Sick Passenger, Emergency Brakes Snarl E, F, M, R, 7 Service
A sick passenger delayed E, F, M and R service and mechanical problems delayed 7 service on Thursday morning, the MTA said.

QUEENS, NY -- Queens riders had a tough time making their Thursday morning commute, thanks to a sick passenger and mechanical issues snarling service on the E, F, M, R and 7 lines.
A sick passenger was reported at the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Ave. subway station at around 9 a.m., the MTA said.
The issue forced southbound E and F trains to make local stops from the Forest Hills - 71 Av station to the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Ave stations, causing delays to the E,F, M and R trains, according to the MTA. Service resumed around 15 minutes later.

But it wasn't long before mechanical problems screwed up service on the 7 train at around 9:30 a.m.
The MTA said Hudson Yard-bound 7 trains will arrive on the express track at Mets-Willets Point because of a train with mechanical problems. One rider on that train said the emergency breaks were pulled and all passengers forced to evacuate at Citi Field while the train was taken out of service.
