Sleeping Man Attacked, Slashed In The Face At NYC Station: NYPD

The incident happened inside the Sutphin Boulevard train station ​in Queens, police said.

QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for two young men who attacked and slashed a 42-year-old man who was sleeping at a Queens train station last week.

The incident happened on Oct. 10 inside the Sutphin Boulevard train station around 2 p.m., police said.

The victim was sleeping on a bench when he was awakened by the two men, who proceeded to punch the victim in the head and slashed him in the face multiple times with a knife, police said.

The two suspects took the victim's cellphone and $500, police said.

EMS transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
