Straphanger Grabs Woman's Butt In Queens Subway Station, Cops Say

QUEENS, NY — A shady straphanger grabbed a woman's butt inside a Queens subway station, police said.

Police seek help identifying a man who groped a 25-year-old woman early Jan. 2.

The butt-grabber walked up to the woman about 4:55 a.m. inside the Beach 44th Street and Rockaway Freeway subway station, authorities said. He then groped her and ran off, police said.

The woman didn't suffer any injuries, officials said.

Police this week released a photograph that they said shows the man, who is described as having a medium build and last seen wearing a dark green vest, dark colored pants, black shoes and black head covering.
