Sunnyside Man Arrested After Good Samaritan Stops Rape Attempt: NYPD
A man from Sunnyside has been charged after the attempted rape of a woman in northern Queens on Sunday, the police said.

QUEENS – A Sunnyside man has been charged with attempted rape and sexual abuse after a woman was attacked in northern Queens on Sunday, authorities said Thursday.
Wilson Kim, 41, stands accused of attacking the 47-year-old woman on 147 Street and Roosevelt Avenue in the Queens neighborhood of Murray Hill about 2 a.m. Sunday, the NYPD said.
Kim is accused of pushing the woman to the ground and trying to pull down her pants, police said.

A good Samaritan intervened and the would-be rapist fled, according to police.
The woman suffered minor injuries, police said.
