Suspect Charged With Murder In Fatal Queens Shooting
The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
QUEENS, NY — A 33-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a deadly shooting that killed a 42-year-old man and injured another person in Queens back in May, police announced.
Navaldo Brown is also facing attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges, police said.
Brown is accused of shooting Johnny Ellis multiple times in the torso and another man in the back at the corner of New Haven Avenue and Beach 19 Street on May 29, Patch previously reported.

Both men were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where Ellis was pronounced dead, police said.
The 36-year-old man was initially listed in stable condition.
