Suspect Sought For Kicking Woman Down Stairs Inside NYC Station

QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a man who allegedly kicked a woman down a set of stairs inside a Queens subway station over the weekend.

The incident happened on March 1 around 11:13 p.m. inside the Roosevelt Avenue Train station, police said.

A 72-year-old woman was walking down a staircase inside the station, when the suspect kicked her from behind, causing her to fall down and sustain injuries to her body.

The victim was transported to NYC Health And Hospital/ Elmhurst in stable condition, police said.

The unidentified man fled the station on a northbound F train.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black winter coat, gray zip-up sweater, red t-shirt, blue jeans and Nike sneakers.
