QUEENS, NY — Police are looking for a suspect who slashed a man in Queens during a dispute over a parking spot last month.

The incident happened near Liberty Ave. and 123rd St. in South Richmond Hill around 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 18, police said.

A 26-year-old man was attempting to park his car when he was approached by the suspect, who had parked his own vehicle behind him.

The two men got into an argument that quickly escalated, and the suspect is accused of slashing the man in the neck with a sharp object, police said.

The suspect then drove off in a black GMC Terrain.

The 26-year-old man was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by private means in critical but stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.

An investigation remains ongoing.
