Suspicious Bag Cleared At JFK Airport Terminal
Passengers were held at security checkpoints after the bag was reported, a Port Authority spokeswoman said.

JAMAICA, NY — Police have cleared a suspicious bag at a John F. Kennedy Airport terminal that briefly caused passengers to be held at security checkpoints Thursday morning, officials said. The unattended bag was reported at Terminal 5 just after 9 a.m., a Port Authority spokeswoman said.
It's unclear whether the terminal was evacuated as authorities investigated the bag.
Passengers could experience delays there as full activity resumes at security checkpoints, the airport said on Twitter.
