  1. Three women are in critical condition after a taxi jumped a curb in Manhattan. Six people were injured and one woman had to have her leg amputated after the shocking event. The crash happened just before 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The cab jumped the curb on Broadway at 29th Street. According to authorities, a man on a CitiBike blew through a red light and into the cab's path, causing the collision. A crowd of people worked together to lift the taxi cab off of one of the women, who was pinned by the vehicle. (WABC-TV)
  2. New York City and Queens County Bar Associations have released their evaluations of judicial candidates. The evaluations were released just a day before early voting began and just over a week before the primary election day. Both Bar Associations gave Thomas Oliva and Karen Lin an "approval" rating, while other candidates received "not approved" ratings.
