Teen Surrenders To Police After Fatally Shooting Boy In The Head In Queens
Sanjay Samuel's family announced on Wednesday that the 13-year-old had died.
QUEENS, NY — A 16-year-old boy accused of fatally shooting a 13-year-old in Queens on Monday surrendered to police on Friday.
Jason Sykes had been identified as the suspected gunman by police. He faces murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon charges.
Sanjay Samuel's family announced on Wednesday that the 13-year-old had died. He had been on life support for the last two days.

The incident happened in the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts at 208-15 Linden Blvd. in Cambria Heights around 8:20 a.m. on Monday.
Officers found the boy lying in the street when they arrived at the scene. Police have said the shooting may have been gang-related.
