Teen Wanted For Shooting That Killed Driver, Injured 1 Other: Police

QUEENS, NY — A teen suspect is wanted for a shooting that left a driver dead and a pedestrian injured in Queens, police announced.
The male suspect is believed to be around 15 to 18-years-old and with black hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, white sneakers and a black surgical mask, police said.
On Monday at 4:50 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the vicinity of 117 Road and Farmer's Boulevard.

At the scene, they found William Alcindor with a gunshot wound to the head inside a gray 2014 Nissan SUV, police said.
A preliminary investigation determined that the 66-year-old driver was travelling east on Baisley Boulevard and turning onto Farmer's Boulevard when he shot in the head and lost control of the vehicle, striking a 23-year-old female pedestrian.

The woman sustained injuries to her legs and was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by EMS in stable condition.
The 66-year-old driver was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests and an investigation remains ongoing.
