Teens Slashed In Astoria Park Attack, Police Say
The investigation is underway, and police said no arrests have been made yet.

QUEENS, NY — A pair of teenagers were slashed Tuesday night while walking through a park in Queens, police said.
According to police, the slashings occurred around 7:30 p.m. in Astoria Park, near the swimming pool.
When cops arrived at the scene, they found a 19-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl, both with a slash wounds to their stomachs, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital and are expected to be okay, NYPD officials said.
Police say they believe a dispute occurred before the slashings, though the cause of the disagreement remains unclear.

As of early Wednesday morning, there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
