Two Men Rob $500,000 In Jewelry From Downtown Flushing Store: NYPD
Authorities are searching for the two robbers that assaulted a 79-year-old woman who was working at Diamond Collect during the robbery.

QUEENS — A jewelry store in Downtown Flushing was robbed of $500,000 worth of jewelry after two men attacked an employee on Wednesday, police said.
Authorities are searching for the two robbers that assaulted a 79-year-old woman who was working at Diamond Collect by hitting her in the head with a handgun to execute the robbery on Feb. 22 about 2:30 p.m., the NYPD said.
The men fled toward Prince Street after taking over $500,000 in jewelry from the store located at 133-42 39 Avenue, police said.

The 79-year-old was taken to New York Hospital Queens and is in stable condition, authorities said.
