VIDEO: Queens Woman Fights Off Attacker In Apartment Lobby

The attacker fled right after and is still on the loose.

SUNNYSIDE, QUEENS — NYPD released a video on Tuesday showing a woman getting attacked in her Sunnyside apartment lobby by a man who followed her into the building.

On March 12 around 12.30 a.m., police responded to a call near 43rd Avenue and 42nd Street to find a 28-year-old woman who had been assaulted. According to police reports, the assailant followed the woman into her building, pushed her against the wall and put his hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming. The man ran away right after and is currently missing, police said.

The attacker is described as a 5-foot 5-inch, Hispanic male with brown eyes and brown hair.

No injuries were reported and nothing was stolen, according to police.
