The cop's shimmying drew 400,000 "likes" and didn't escape attention from NYPD officials, who said she "will not be subject to discipline."

NEW YORK CITY — An NYPD cop's dance moves shimmied her into a spate of viral TikTok videos taken in the subway.

Videos featuring the officer racked up at least 400,000 "likes" as of Monday.

One video shows her twist away as a dancer jumps over and back over a turnstile.

A final video provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her dancing, complete with a hand heart between the cop and dancer.

Most viewers appeared to appreciate the videos, at least judging by the long trail of positive comments.

"Oh she protecting and Serving," one TikTok user wrote.

"She's engaging with the community," wrote another fan.

But some people didn't catch the vibe.

"Meanwhile someone is getting mugged," one joker wrote.

"Why you bout to get her fired," a concerned user wrote the dancer who posted the video.

And it appears that users' concerns for the officer may not have been misplaced.

The New York Post reported that sources said the woman was transferred from Manhattan's 24th Precinct after the videos went viral.

An NYPD spokesperson didn't respond to Patch's inquiries to find out if the officer was transferred. Instead, they sent a statement that read: "We are aware of the video. The officer will not be subject to discipline."
