Woman Killed, 1 Other Wounded In NYC Double Shooting

QUEENS, NY — A double shooting in Queens left a woman dead and one other person wounded on Monday morning.

The incident happened at a home on 119th Street and 14th Road in College Point around 1:15 a.m, police said.

A 32-year-old woman was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.

A 49-year-old man — apparently the woman's uncle — was shot in the arm and in the back.

He was transported to Flushing Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.

A description of a possible suspect was not readily available as of Monday evening.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
