QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a woman responsible for an alleged hate crime on a subway train in Queens last week.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect earlier this week.
The incident happened on April 16 aboard a northbound R train that was heading toward the Queens Plaza station, police said.

The suspect sat across a 29-year-old victim and started calling her racial slurs, police said.
The individual then kicked her multiple times in the legs, before exiting the train at Queens Plaza and fleeing from the scene.

The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention, police said.
The suspect was last seen wearing a red, black and white jacket, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
