Another 300 Coronavirus Vaccinations Headed To Riverhead

Riverhead residents ages 60 and up are eligible for the additional dosages. See how to register.

RIVERHEAD, NY — An additional 300 coronavirus vaccine dosages will be available for Riverhead residents, ages 60 and over, on Friday and Saturday, Town Supervisor Yvette Aguiar said.

The vaccines will be administered from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Riverhead Health Center, or Sun River Health, at the Suffolk County Center, located at 300 Center Drive. Pre-registration is required. Register by calling 631-727-3200, Ext. 653 or Ext. 290, or sign up online here.

Aguiar said she will continue to advocate for additional vaccinations for Riverhead seniors, reaching out to Governor Andrew Cuomo and County Executive Steve Bellone to help protect "the most vulnerable population afflicted by the COVID-19 virus."
