Beloved Karaoke Back At Jerry & The Mermaid

RIVERHEAD, NY — A popular tradition returns to Jerry & The Mermaid Friday night, as the beloved "Karaoke Night" makes its return.
The event takes place on Friday, Feb. 21 from 9 p.m. to midnight at Jerry & The Mermaid, located at 469 East Main Street in Riverhead. The fun begins at 8 p.m., when reservations are available in the bar room.
Jerry & The Mermaid owner Jerry Dicecco described what prompted the decision to bring back karaoke: "Our clients were demanding it came back! Everyone missed karaoke at Jerry’s. It’s been a staple for over two decades."

When asked for his favorite karaoke tune, Dicecco smiled. "I don’t sing, but my father does. 'Summer Wind', by Frank Sinatra, is his go-to song."
