Patch: Tell us a bit about your business.
Richard Piana: G2D Group is a privately owned real estate development and investment firm.

Founded in the early 2000s as a full-service development and property management company, G2D Group delivers products with intrinsic quality and innovative aesthetics. Its principal partner and CEO, Gregory DeRosa, has expansive knowledge across property classes, positioning the portfolio for substantial long-term growth. Projects include mixed-use, medical, retail, and residential properties in Long Island, New York, from Hicksville to Riverhead. Our real estate investment firm ensures each project is pushed to its fullest potential to meet market demand and drive the most refined design.

In addition to his principal role at G2D, Gregory is a board member of the US Green Building Council- Long Island chapter and is involved in Hope House Ministries, First Tee Program of Metropolitan New York, and Sunrise Day Camp. In addition, he is a member of the Energeia Partnership at Molloy College and is actively committed to providing housing for adults with disabilities.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Piana: 25+ years.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Piana: Our multifamily residences are made to inspire a life well lived. It is our goal to add value to the communities we develop in, and to make the lives of our properties' inhabitants more convenient and comfortable. Our current residential properties in Huntington, Hicksville, and Riverhead feature high-end design and expertly curated amenities for easy living in modern, transit-oriented neighborhoods.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in a few words, what would those words be?
Piana: We are dedicated to achieving our vision by creating a dynamic, positive, and results-driven work environment focused on the investment in, and development of, enduring client relationships.
