Healthy for the Holidays cancer survivorship program set at Peconic

The event is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Peconic Bay Medical Center, Conference Room C.

When a member of our community receives a diagnosis of cancer, the world immediately changes for them, their family, and their healthcare team. That is why Peconic Bay Medical Center has created a Cancer Center of Excellence to serve the East End of Long Island.

With the support and resources of the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, our board-certified, specialty-trained physicians and nursing staff are elevating the care we deliver to our community.

The medical center's survivorship program is proud to announce our next quarterly session, entitled "Healthy for the Holidays." The event is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Peconic Bay Medical Center, Conference Room C.

This event will provide support, education and camaraderie to those who are navigating the cancer survivorship journey. This meeting will focus on psychological wellness. It will include strategies to cope with stress around the holidays including special guests from our pet therapy team! Come and meet our team and special four-legged friends for a night to remember.
